Members: How do I change my details?
1. On the home page click the Register/Login text.

On a mobile you would start by clicking on the three bars at top right, then choosing Register/Login on the next screen:

2. This takes you to the Login screen. This is only for people who have previously registered for the members area on the website. This didn't happen automatically when you filled in the application form. If you are uncertain whether you have registered or not, you can follow these instructions (though why you would think you have a password is beyond me) and if it you get an error message: ‘Login unsuccessful: Identity not found’ then you haven’t previously registered. You need to look at the instructions in the answer to How do I register for the members area? For those of you who have registered fill in your name and password. If you get the error: ‘Login unsuccessful: wrong password’ then you have misspelt your password or used the wrong one. If you have forgotten it, click on ‘Forgot password?’ and follow the instructions. If it says ‘Identity not found’ then you will have a typo in your email address (or used the wrong one). All the rest of you can carry on reading.

3. Immediately you press the Log In button you are returned to your previous page. The one difference being that your name will appear in the top left on a desktop/laptop browser and in the menu accessed by clicking on the three bars on a mobile.

4. Clicking on your name shows the menu for the members area - if unforeseen circumstances mean you need to to change the details regarding your opening days and/or times then choose 'My Details'. To change images use 'My Images'. From thereon it is all pretty self explanatory.

Members: I've forgotten my password. How do I get a new one?
1. On the home page click the Register/Login text. [A few people have had a problem where they thought that they had registered for the members' area just by filling in the application form. That isn't the case. You didn't need to use a password for the application form. Chances are that this will be picked up by an error message a little later on this journey.]

3. On the Login screen click 'Forgot Password?'

4. This brings you to the screen below. Enter your email address here (the one that you previously registered with - it should be the same as the one you put on your original application otherwise you won't be able to access your details.

5. If your email address is not recognised you will get an error message like the one below after you press the Submit button. Assuming that it isn't just a misspelling, this means that you need to register so quit this screen and go to the Register screen that you saw at the beginning of this journey! (If it is a misspelling type in the correct address and press submit again.

6. If everything is fine once you press the Submit button you should get the screen belowDo what it says...the email may take a short while to arrive. Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see anything.

7. You will eventually receive an email looking something like this. Click the 'Create New Password' link and it will open a browser window in whatever your default browser is (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari...or a more obscure one).

8. That will take you to the following screen where you enter your new password twice.

9. After you have clicked the 'Reset Password' button, you will see the following confirmation screen. Click 'OK'.

10. This brings up the login screen where you enter your email address and your new password and press the 'Login' button.

11. You're there! This brings up the home page again but with your name in the top right.

12. Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name to access the members menu. If you are a bona fide exhibiting artist or North Norfolk Studios artist you will be able to access the members area from here.

Members: I'm an exhibiting artist. How do I access the members area?
1. On the home page click the Register/Login text

2. This takes you to the Login page. ONLY USE THIS IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED otherwise click on one of the underlined words (see picture).

3. This takes you to the Register page. IF YOU HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED fill in your name and the email address that you used when you filled in the application form (if you use a different email address you won't be able to edit your details.

3. You may get a 'Confirm your email' request pop up as in the image below. If this happens, check your emails. Don't close your browser...just swap between your emails and this window. (I suspect that some are closing this window and getting stuck). If you don't know how to swap between your emails you may need to get a (younger) friend to help you.

4. An email similar to this should arrive - copy the 6 digit code (Ctrl + C on a PC, Cmd + C on a mac) and return to your browser

6. Paste the code into the box (Ctrl + V on a PC and Cmd + V on a mac), then click the 'Confirm & Sign Up' button.

10. You're there! This brings up the home page again but with your name or email address in the top right.

11. Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name to access the members menu. If you are a bona fide exhibiting artist or North Norfolk Studios artist you will be able to access the relevant pages from here.
