Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.
I'm not only an artist but also a teacher of art - both in schools and in my studio in Castle Acre. I teach small groups of beginners/intermediates (4-6 people) in my studio, and offer workshops all year round both in my studio and across the county of Norfolk for all levels of abilities and larger groups.
Myself, I enjoy working in pastels and oils, I love experimenting with techniques which is why my work is so varied and diverse. My latest works combine mixing roller print with pastels, water pouring with sculpting and oils with cold wax.
I have been doing Limited edition Reduction linocut prints since lockdown. I have been working on 'North Norfolk favourite places' such as Blakeney & Thornham Creek as well filling my passion and love of nature with 'Otter Love' and 'Love-a-hare' published in the book 'Beauty of the Beast' by Mascot media.
In my life of fashion design pre artist days I loved the art nouveau and retro eras. I have created in reduction linocut the 12 horoscope star signs in art nouveau style inspired by Alphonse Mucha using current celebrities as my muses. Eg Taylor Swift as Sagittarius.
I love inspiring others to enjoy art, make it fun and be brave - 'it's just a piece of paper' and ' every mistake is a good lesson learned' and my favourite 'Don't be afraid of the darks'.
My studio is nearly always open for visitors but I maybe out with the dogs, so a quick call to ensure I'm in for answers to questions, general art help or bookings for courses, art demos /workshops.
I also do arty drop ins - (Tuesday afternoons at the moment) small groups of 4-5 for those who want to paint (bring own equipment) have a cuppa and a natter. for more info give me a call.
